Vienna, 24 November 2015

ADEPT co-organised a special Round Table discussion on diaspora volunteering with Africa Diaspora Youth Network Europe (ADYNE) as part of the ADYFE annual conference in Vienna.

This event provided an opportunity to share experience and best practice with regards to diaspora volunteering, and will be used to inform the development of ADEPT’s forthcoming Diaspora Fellowship Programme in 2016.

Speakers included Bamadi Sanokho, Deputy Mayor of Gentilly, France; Valentin Yombo Djema, Chair of Diaspora Volunteering Alliance (UK); Emma Orefuwa, Africa Gives; Karim Saafi, Board Member of ADYNE, and Paul Asquith, ADEPT Engagement and Capacity Manager.

Recommendations from the Round Table can be found here.
