Webinar: Enhancing the African Social Economy through Diaspora Investment

We are delighted to announce that this month’s webinar, taking place on Monday 27 February 2017, from 03:30 PM to 05:30 PM (UK time) will be focusing on the need to stimulate diaspora investments to create jobs and enhance the African social economy. The webinar will also present the AFFORD Diaspora Finance (ADF) programme as a case study of diaspora action and mainstream collaboration.

AFFORD Diaspora Finance delivers business development support to diaspora entrepreneurs active in Africa. As part of ADF, the Diaspora Enterprise Accelerator, through a business plan competition, will award a grant of £30,000 (each) to 20 African Diaspora-led UK based registered businesses or social enterprises to expand their activities in Nigeria, Rwanda, Sierra Leone and Zimbabwe.
