Gibril Faal holds ‘Senior Officials Meeting (SOM) at the Ivory Coast Ministry of African Integration and Ivorians Abroad

On 25 August 2016, Gibril Faal held a ‘Senior Officials Meeting (SOM) at the Ivory Coast Ministry of African Integration and Ivorians Abroad’ at Cité Administrative, Abidjan, Ivory Coast. After a courtesy call to Cabinet Director Mr Diamoutene Alassane, the SOM deliberated and agreed a cooperation framework, with ADEPT providing technical assistance and support to draft and start the implementation of a Diaspora Strategy and Action Plan for Ivory Coast. The SOM also explored the role of Ivory Coast in the implementation of the Nairobi Action Plan on Remittances. The SOM was attended by Mrs Aminata Coulibaly, Chief of Staff, Mr Stéphane Aka-Anghui, Deputy Chief of Staff, Mr Issiaka Konaté, Director General of Ivorians Abroad, Dr Nanourougou Coulibaly, Director of Research and Promotion of Economic Opportunies, and Mr Hermann Kouassi, President of Club D’Affaires Afrique-Monde (CAAM), which is a diaspora development organisation.
