THE GAMBIA MISSION

A mission impact has been carried out in the Gambia. The goal was to report on the results of the Diaspora Technical Support (DTS) awarded to Africa Centre, a member of ADEPT based in Ireland.

Owing to ADEPT’s support, Africa Centre could set up its first office in Africa, closing the gap between the organisation and the final beneficiaries, whose concerns and need could be acknowledged better. More, Africa Centre could undertake several consultations of local stakeholders, hence ensuring the alignment of its intervention to the country priorities. To wrap up, Africa Centre could identify and formulate its 3-year plan for the Gambia. The identification and the formulation are the two first steps of the project cycle and their quality are key for the final results.
