Diaspora Youth Design Competition: The Future of Diaspora

Are you a young member of any diaspora interested in design? How do you envision diaspora engagement in the future?

ADEPT and iDiaspora are organising the First Design Competition for young diaspora members.

This competition is opened exclusively to young digital artists, designers, illustrators, members of any diaspora. Illustrations should reflect their personal vision on the future of diaspora engagement for the development of origin countries in the next 10 to 20 years.

The attached illustration must be a high-quality image file and portrait orientation. Submitted illustrations must not have been published or submitted to any other competition. The winner will be the front cover of the upcoming ADEPT- iDiaspora publication “The Future of Diaspora” to be published in Fall 2021.

Deadline to apply: 30th July 2021 

Eligibility and Conditions:

– Open to any young member of diaspora from 18 to 32 years old.
– Submissions must not have been submitted to other competitions previously and they should be original creations.
– There is no entry fee.
– Each designer may submit only one illustration.
– The image will be used in an A4 Cover (297mm x 210mm)

Prize: The winner will be selected by a group of diaspora engagement experts and will be the front cover of the upcoming ADEPT-iDiaspora publication “The Future of Diaspora” to be published in Fall 2021.
