Diaspora Contribution to post COVID-19 rural recovery

African diaspora’s desire to rebuild through agri-business – challenges and achievements addressed by diaspora organisations

This roundtable offers a platform for diaspora organizations and individuals to share COVID-19 response and recovery experiences, best practices, and needs, with a focus on the agri-food sector and rural areas. Recommendations from the roundtable will inform ADEPT and FAO interventions to support diaspora contributions to rural development and post-COVID-19 recovery.

  • Are you an African diaspora entrepreneur or organization with expertise in agri-business?
  • Are you supporting your country of origin recovering from the pandemic?
  • Do you want to share your experience with fellow diaspora members?
  • Would you like to take part in a discussion around short and long-term solutions to support countries of origin recovering from the crisis?

If so, please contact Gregory@adept-platform.org with your organization name and your contact details to have access to the roundtable.
