Held during the Marrakesh Migration Week to coincide with the Global Forum on Migration and Development Summit and the Intergovernmental Conference to Adopt the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration, the DDD10 will target 200 participants and in particular will provide a learning and exchange of practice platform to 60 participants equally split between delegates from the African diaspora and the African continent.

This high-level event will involve the participants from regional institutions (EU, AU, ACP, ECOWAS), representatives from national and regional diaspora and migrants’ platforms, ambassadors, senior government civil servants and officials, civil society organisations, as well as private sector and other development stakeholders to work on practical means of improving diaspora interventions in African development.
