Webinar: Project-planning, design, and bid-writing for diaspora groups & MITOS Diaspora Entrepreneurship Toolkit

ADEPT Consultant Trainers Najatte Kaaoiss and Karim Saafi delivered a two-day training session in Bern to members of the African Foundation for Migration and Development (AFMD) diaspora network in Switzerland on ‘Project planning, design, and bid-writing’ on 22 and 23 September 2016. AFMD also held its inauguration event in Bern on 24 September. The aim of this session was to support AFMD to develop credible and investment-ready project plans and proposals for a project addressing the needs of post-Ebola recovery in the local health systems in two regions in Sierra Leone.

Najatte and Karim will lead a session as part of ADEPT’s follow-up and ongoing support during the forthcoming ADEPT webinar on 29 September from 3:30 to 5:30 PM  (UK time); 4:30 to 6:30 (Brussels time), with the aim of further developing and refining their project proposal.

This webinar session is open to participants in the AFMD training and anyone else who is interested in learning more about project planning and design and bid-writing.

It will be followed by a session by diaspora entrepreneur Eskinder Mamo, founder of AhadooTec, a tech start-up in Ethiopia, on the MITOS Diaspora Entrepreneurship toolkit that GIZ has developed to support current and potential diaspora entrepreneurs.
