Beyond Dual Citizenship

The Coordinora d’Associacions Senegelesas de Catalunya (CASC) is organising, in partnership with the Catalan Development Cooperation Agency, Barcelona City Council and the Secretariat for Equality, Migration, and Citizenship Department and ADEPT, a round-table event entitled, ‘Beyond Dual Citizenship: Election of Diaspora Deputies to the Senegalese Assembly‘, to be held in Barcelona, Spain from 07-09 April.

This event will bring together Senegalese diaspora representatives from across Europe as well as representatives of the Senegalese government and diplomatic staff to discuss the election of diaspora deputies in the forthcoming Senegalese national elections.

Confirmed speakers include: Mr. Oriol Amoros, Secretary of the Equality, Migration, and Citizenship Department, Government of Catalonia; Mr. Manuel Vila, Director-General of the Catalan Agency for Development Cooperation (ACCD); Mr. Mouctar Belal Ba,  Senegalese Consul-General in Madrid; Mr. Gibril Faal OBE, Interim Executive Director of ADEPT; and Ms. Lola López, Commissionada d’Immigració Diversitat i Interculturalitat (Immigration, Diversity, and Multiculturalism Commission);
